Step 5 - Verify sensor definition on Qubitro

Up until now, you have carried out all of the essential procedures to transmit sensor data to the application platform (i.e., Qubitro). Now you need to check to see if your sensor was automatically created on Qubitro and if data began to flow. Once a sensor has been created, you can examine additional information regarding the device and the data that has been received. In order to accomplish this, you will need to navigate on Qubitro and check to see whether the sensor was generated on the project page or not. Device creation in the project is expected to be done automatically.

If your device did not appear automatically, check that your sensor has sent any data after Step 3. A device will be generated automatically after Step 3 has been completed, and the sensor data has been received.

1

On the Qubitro home page, select At Project page, and press the "Refresh" icon to refresh screen to see if your device is created.
2

Now you should see if your sensor is created automatically, assuming it has sent some data after Step 3 (i.e., creating a Qubitro connection for your sensor).
3

When you click on the sensor definition (i.e., DevEUI) , you will find useful information about the radio connectivity of the sensor (SNR, RSSI).
1

Select Data tab to view the data received from the sensor data and the associated date/time.
2

If you wish to view the payload, press the “+” sign on the list
3

Now you have seen the JSON formatted data. Please note that the sensor data is already converted into JSON format, since you selected the correct Brand / Model on TPC.
1

Select the ActilityQubitro connection from the Connections list to view the status of the connection.
2

If you click to "OPEN THINGPARK X IOT FLOW" button you will access the connection definitions and their status on TPX. Please notice that now you just switched to the TPX site.
