  • 10 years battery life

Vicki is a smart radiator valve (TRV) that is compatible with all radiators with thermostatic valves allowing for more precise heating control on a room-by-room or radiator-by-radiator basis. One can set default schedules, which can later be manually adjusted by tenants to achieve optimal home comfort. Vicki works with 2xAA batteries (up to 3.7VDC supply voltage) that can last for up to 10 years.

Vicki is suitable for residential, commercial, and municipality buildings and can optimize the heating energy by between 15% and 30%.

Vicki has the following additional functionalities:

  • Manual adjustment of temperature by rotating the outer ring of the device
  • 2-digits display
  • Open window detection
  • Child lock
  • Adjustable internal temperature control algorithm parameters
  • Battery voltage retrieval
  • Firmware & Hardware version retrieval
  • Configurable operational modes
  • Configurable confirmation of uplinks
  • Configurable network join retry period
  • Configurable uplink period
  • Occasional valve refreshing to avoid calcification
  • Configurable target temperature ranges (default: 5°-30°C)

Vicki has 4 operational modes:

  1. The offline – device is not connected to the network. This means that the device can’t join the LoRaWAN network or doesn’t receive uplink confirmation. In this mode the device uses its internal temperature control algorithm to achieve target temperature;
  2. Online manual control – the device is connected to the network; the internal temperature control algorithm is disabled. Motor position is determined by the server.
  3. Online automatic control - the device is connected to the network; internal temperature control algorithm is enabled; Target temperature is determined by the server.
  4. Online automatic control with external temperature reading – the device is connected to the network; internal temperature control algorithm is enabled; internal temperature sensor is disabled; Target temperature and sensor reading are determined by the server.

MClimate

MClimate is an IoT company that designs and develops affordable and universally compatible smart home and building automation solutions with a focus on sustainability and delivering enhanced comfort, home security, and energy savings to its end users.

The Company has developed a wide range of easy-to-install devices that retrofit most home and office appliances converting them into smart ones letting you can gain control over 80% of your electricity usage and save up to 30% on your energy bill.

Through the help of AI and geolocation features your device “learns” your preferences and habits - what temperature you like, when do you usually get home, how long does it take for your A/C to cool down/heat up, etc and helps you optimize your consumption patterns. You can remotely control and monitor your home to make sure you have peace of mind and enjoy the right temperature at a lower energy cost.
