Requirements for a smooth use of the kit
Thingpark subscription
The kit includes the setup of your 3 months subscription to ThingPark Enterprise SaaS service as well as the activation and configuration of the devices. An active subscription is not a prerequisite for the kit, but included in the services.
Note: The subscription can easily be extended after the trial period, if you decide to turn the kit into a real project.
If you already have an active Thingpark subscription:
Please contact us (Favendo) after your order and we will guide you through the necessary steps to configure the devices and connect to the Asset Tracking Viewer application.
Environmental requirements
Maximum size of the area that can be covered with the kit:
- Indoor: 50-75qm
- Outdoor: depends on LoRa connectivity from gateway to device. Also 1km (line of sight) is possible, but our real life test did not achieve this distance.
Where the gateway should be installed:
- As close as possible to the center and in an elevated position in the area to be covered. If possible with "line of sight" to the beacons.

Process steps
How and when you will receive the link to your personal tracking environment:
- Each customer gets a different link related to its own tracking environment
- You will receive the URL and the credentials after we have set up your individual environment
- Therefore, the URL is not communicated in the user guide, but via the mail address that you entered when you placed your order

Favendo
The company specializes in indoor positioning and mobile tracking and navigation solutions. Long-standing customers include SAP, FRAPORT, Hammerson plc, and MSC Cruises. Favendo solutions are used and distributed by Trilux and Phoenix Contact. Favendo created the RTLS Location Engine and indoor location application platform Commander and also uses input from partner companies such as Abeeway and Quuppa.
