Actility- Elsys Waste Management evaluation kit
For decades, waste management was the simple disposal of waste materials in landfills and other sites. Thanks to the use of IP67 casing with an operating temperature of -40 to 60 °C (85 °C with an external power supply), the solution revolutionizes the way waste is collected in cities by providing operational analytics and route optimization.
Our Waste management evaluation kit combines Elsys ELT-Ultrasonic sensor technology, which measures the fill level of containers and bins, and an intuitive application to manage the assets and configure alerts. This solution is using ThingPark Community LoRaWAN network server.
The kit includes all the necessary items needed to start your PoC. However, you can scale up and add more options to fit your needs!

Our waste management package is the ideal solution to precisely monitor the fill level and send you alerts when it exceeds the programmed threshold. The solution uses Elsys ELT-ultrasonic sensors that offer the best solution when accurate and repeatable distance measurement is needed. Our ultrasonic sensors alert collection trucks to full bins, assess segregation levels and determine whether a driver should stop or continue. This data is used by fleet operations to track their cars and reroute them in real-time. When this data is combined with a scheduling engine, teams may design highly optimal collection plans and forecast what to expect weeks ahead of time. The LoRaWAN long-range technology allows an easy installation and the ability to monitor sensors in a very large area with low infrastructure cost. This system has been designed specifically for ease of use and provides immediate alerts should any conditions fall out of their optimal ranges.
